Thinking about hitting the road to visit the City of Pines?
Any time is a good time to visit Baguio City, one of the coldest area in the Philippines to avoid the crowded, noisy, hot and busy city life.
Recently, me and my family visited Baguio City to celebrate my aunt’s birthday. It was my first time to visit this famous cold city where brooms and strawberries are very popular.
I didn’t have the luxury of time to search or look for a place to stay, instead our van driver, Kuya Roel (a.k.a JoVi) recommended the Mi Amore’s Transient Rooms.
It doesn’t have a fireplace inside, unlike what I have read in Baguio experiences from other travelers and bloggers but the place is quite cozy.
It has the basic essentials that anyone to be having a vacation in Baguio would look for a transient:
- Free internet connection or WiFi
- Cooking space with gas stove and kitchen items
- Fan (despite of the cold weather)
- Near stores to buy things, foods etc
- Quiet ambiance
- Near to places to visit (walking distance to Wright Park)
- Comfortable beds and rooms
- Good neighborhood
- A terrace
- Affordable price
- and of course, a shower with a HEATER.
Accommodation at Mi Amore is safe and easy. The people who runs the place are very generous, kind and hospitable.
